Apple is among the companies that are helping New Delhi, India schools embrace and use technology. Apple has organized an inter-school competition for making movies using Apple software, according to a CIOL article.
Most New Delhi schools are using computers to aid curriculum-based learning, although they’re also experimenting with other methods by which technology can be meshed with the school curriculum. So far schools have approached computer teaching in an open manner, according to CIOL.
“While it has been introduced as a medium of fun learning in junior schools, senior students have been encouraged to use the medium to expand the scope of conventional learning while learning useful tools at the same time,” the article adds. “Students from middle school onwards learn office application tools like MS Word, spreadsheets and how to make multi-media presentations.”
