Urchin 4 provides Webmasters and others with database-driven analysis of Web site traffic. The software analyzed cookie-fortified Web server log files and produces browser-based reports. The software can analyze traffic from multiple sites, and produces accurate unique visitor tracking via its Urchin Tracking Module (UTM).
Urchin’s vice president of business development, Brett Crosby said that Urchin for OS X is his company’s third most popular download — and with the Jaguar release, he expects it to move up the charts. “We’re very excited to release our native OS X installer, which we feel will be a perfect fit for Apple’s new Xserve platform,” added Crosby.
Urchin 4 costs US$695, and can be purchased directly from the Urchin Software Corp. Web site.
