All entries must be original works written, recorded, edited, and performed by the submitting artist.
Artists may submit up to three entries in each category.
Entries must be received by September 1, 1999.
Entries must be submitted on floppy disk, Zip 100 disk, or on CD-ROM. CD-ROMs should be burned as Mac volumes. Song entries on CD-ROM must be in a digital format, not as Audio CD tracks.

With your entry or entries, you must include on a separate sheet of paper the following information:
Your name, complete address, and phone number.
The name of your music group, if any.
The title of your entry.
The duration of the entry in minutes and seconds.
The contest category in which this entry is to be judged.
You may submit an individual entry for consideration in only one category. Entries submitted to more than one category (e.g., Best QuickTime Music Video and Best Song) may be rejected outright at the judges’discretion.
Macworld reserves the right to reject any submission for any reason.
Entry in the contest constitutes permission for Macworld to use winning entries on any future Macworld CD and on Macworld’s web site, and for any promotional purposes relating to Macworld in any way that Macworld sees fit.
Entry also constitutes permission for Macworld to announce your name and/or the name of your group on any future Macworld CD, in Macworld Magazine, and on Macworld’s web site.
If you want any part of your submission returned to you, include with your entry a postage paid self-addressed envelope. All other materials submitted to Macworld for the contest, including entries with insufficient postage or incomplete return addresses, become the property of Macworld.
Winners will be showcased on Macworld’s November 1999 Interactive CD ROM. Winners will also be notified by mail.
