Microsoft Office 2001 Tour: The Formatting Palette
By Macworld Staff
Say good-bye to bulky formatting toolbars at the top of your documents. The context-sensitive formatting palette hosts a variety of application-specific formatting choices (the one shown here is for Word), and users have the option of labeling those choices instead of relying on icons or one-word labels. The only application that doesn’t have the palette is the new personal information manager, Entourage.
