PowerPoint 2001 has a new windowpane view, which lets users view a presentation’s outline, the selected slide, and notes for that slide. This is a great change from previous PowerPoint versions; now users can concentrate on the structure of their presentation without worrying about each slide’s appearance. The notes section lets speakers insert notes relating to each slide — perfect for nervous speakers, or anyone whose memory needs prodding.
