The kits provide Covad subscribers with plug-and-play broadband connectivity, according to Covad, and supports Mac OS 8.0 or higher, including Mac OS X. What’s more, Covad’s customer service agents have been trained to offer Mac support and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Covad has also added Mac documentation on its online management system — SMART Account Manager. SMART allows Covad customers to assess account information, change e-mail accounts, manage custom domains and Web hosting.
Noting his company’s improvements for Mac users, Covad Broadband Solutions executive vice president and general manager Patrick Bennett said, “With these enhancements, the Mac customer can now quickly and easily get their system connected to Covad’s national broadband network.”
