Apple, which recently updated its implementation of Java for Mac OS X, will be a sponsor of the 2003 JavaOne conference, which will be held June 10-13 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California.

Co-sponsored by Sun Microsystems and Key3Media Group Inc., a company that produces information technology trade shows and conferences, JavaOne is targeted to Java technology developers. Registration is now open at the conference Web site. JavaOne will be home to more than 200 technical sessions focused on such topics as: Java Core Technology, Java Technology in Mobility, Core Enterprise, Java Technology in the Web Tier, Web Services, Java Technology on the Desktop, Java Technology Products and Success Stories, and Advanced Network Technologies.
As one of the conference’s “Gold” sponsors, Apple will showcase its Java solutions in the JavaOne Pavilion. Other sponsors include Borland, Motorola, SAP, Compuware Corp., Intel, DataDirect Technologies, Hewlett Packard, Novell, Quest Software, and Siemens.
