HipFlics is a digital video enhancing, compressing and processing tool. It can be used as a standalone product or in conjunction with other digital video or Web authoring products. A QuickTime-based tool, it makes use of the QuickTime movie format.
And with QuickTime 6’s support for MPEG-4 streaming technology, HipFlics users can now author compliant MPEG-4 video (in either .mov or .mp4 format) and AAC audio files. Version 1.2 also offers a faster compression engine, expanded codec view, and support for new QuickTime 6 effects and transitions
You can download the product from the Totally Hip Web site; registration is US$49.95 — or $34.95 US for educational customers. HipFlics 1.2 is also available on CD-ROM for $99.95 (it includes the Mac and Windows versions). Registered users can upgrade to version 1.2 for free.
