There are still a few spots available for anyone wishing to attend the Adobe-Apple design course dubbed ADIM (Art Directors Invitational Master Class), which will be held April 1-5 in Monterey, California. The four-day event will spotlight Apple hardware and Adobe software and is targeted to those in the design industry.

Overseen by Russell Brown, creative director of Adobe Systems, and his team, ADIM VI event is themed “La Trasformazione Italiana.” Participants are promised a digital journey through Ancient Rome to modern-day Italy as they explore such Adobe products as Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign on Power Macs, PowerBooks, and iMacs. They’ll also be challenged to create their own handmade book on the third day of class using Italian-inspired artwork.
ADIM VI will be held at the Monterey Plaza Hotel. Registration is US$2,050. The price includes one Mac for use during class, a CD-ROM of course material, all meals, and a copy of the Adobe Design Collection that includes Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat. You can register online.
