Lasso maker Blue World Communications Inc. is sponsoring the first MySQL Users Conference and Expo, which is slated for April 10-12, 2003 in San Jose, California. MySQL is an open source database.

During the show, Blue World — which will be an exhibitor as well as a sponsor — will showcase its line of products for building and serving data-driven Web sites including Lasso Studio 6 for Dreamweaver MX, Lasso Studio 6 for Adobe GoLive 6, and Lasso Professional 6 for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. Lasso products and services will also be promoted at the show by Lasso Development Ltd. of the United Kingdom.
Discounted passes to the MySQL Users Conference can be ordered at the MySQL Store. Discounting prices (good through March 20) range from US$47.50 for the exhibits only to $495 for the entire conference. The first 500 registrants will receive a T-shirt.
