Code Line Communications, the makers of Art Directors Toolkit, has released Color Consultant Pro (CCP) 1.0, an interactive color wheel designed to assist creative professionals in designing and implementing color palettes based on color theory. It’s compatible with Mac OS X and Mac OS 8.6-9.x, though exporting to PICT, HTML, and PDF formats is Mac OS X only.

Color Consultant Pro uses both Scientific (RGB) and Artistic (RYB) color wheels with several color schemes including Analogous, Complementary, Split Complementary, Monochromatic, Tetradic, Triadic, and Custom. It also supports RGB, CMYK, Lab and Hex color spaces. Colors and palettes can be copied and pasted into a variety of design applications.
