The MacFilmmakers, a Silicon Valley-based user group for filmmakers creating content on the Mac, will meet Wednesday, March 19, 7:00 p.m., at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.

The meeting marks the group’s first anniversary and will feature the following presentations: “eBay for Indie Filmmakers: Safe and Sane Equipment Hunting” by Kevin Johnson and “The Power of MPEG 4: Codecs Compared Using Cleaner 6” by Hage van Dijk. Johnson is a four-year veteran of eBay; van Dijk is a streaming product specialist at Discreet.
There’ll also be demos of remote zoom and focus controllers for LANC equipped camcorders. Finally, during the MacFilmmakers meeting, a full version of Cleaner 6 and Combustion 2.1 will be raffled off.
