German Mac game publisher e.p.i.c. interactive has announced plans to publish a Mac version of Belgian game developer Larian Studios’ role-playing game, Divine Divinity.
Divine Divinity is an action-based role playing game in which players assume the role of warrior, wizard or survivor as they take on the Lord of Chaos and try to save the lands of Rivellon. Prophecy has foretold of you, “The Chosen One.” You have to be blessed as The Divine Savior before you can take on the Lord of Chaos himself.
Divine Divinity incorporates an intricate storyline and involves plenty of sub-quests, according to e.p.i.c. Released last fall for Windows, Divine Divinity is rendered from an isometric perspective, similar to Blizzard’s legendary game Diablo, or other similar titles.
e.p.i.c. plans to release the Mac version is the third quarter of 2003. Projected system requirements call for a G3/333MHz with 128MB RAM and a 3D graphics card with at least 8MB of video RAM. It’ll be for Mac OS X only.
