Impression can back up Mac OS X directories to and restore them from multiple optical discs. It works with CD-R, CD-RW and DVD-R media, and includes a utility for erasing rewrite discs.
This announcement from The Babel Co. marks the “final” release of Impression 1.0. The software went through a beta period, as well. Changes since the most recent pre-release version of Impression include multi-directory backups, a help system, better disk space usage estimates, changes to the user interface, and bug fixes to the restore engine.
Impression costs US$20 to register.
