.Mac is Apple’s subscription-based online service, complete with e-mail, Web publishing capabilities, online storage, backup, data synchronization, virus protection and other features. The service costs US$99 per year.
The training itself is broken into eight separate sections, including:
Working with Your New Desktop
Configuring and Customizing Your Mac
Sharing Your Mac
Working with Applications
Setting Up Network and Internet Access
Using the Internet
Using Mail and Instant Messaging
Each section contains multiple pages of specific information, along with QuickTime movies showing you various features and capabilities of Jaguar in action. What’s more, Apple provides practice files for you to use, online help, and more.
