ZyGoDigital will demonstrate ZyGoVideo PRO:XT, a core component of the ZyGoCasting solution, at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) 2003 show held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from April 7-10.
ZyGoCasting is a solution based on ZyGoVideo, a codec for QuickTime and QuickTime Pro that compresses and decompresses video files to deliver broadcast-quality video at lower transmission speeds. It supplies the user with live broadcasting via ZyGoCaster, which is capable of compressing and saving multiple videos simultaneously on Xserves. Both compression settings and file addresses may be modified during the streaming broadcast, creating clips with different resolutions and data rates for later streaming broadcasts.
ZyGoVideo PRO:XT is designed to enhance ZyGoCasting by providing the ability to encode XML data directly into the video stream that includes text and graphics. You can dynamically change XML data during live streaming. ZyGoVideo PRO:XT lets you modify the color, position, and background for text, and is DRM capable with embedded XML following the XrML specification.
