UK-based Mac game publisher Feral Interactive has announced that its conversion of Championship Manager 4 — the latest edition of the popular soccer (football) management game — has gone gold master, the last step before a game goes into duplication. A new version of the game’s demo based on the gold master code has also been created and is ready for download.
There’s more good news too. The company has also posted some new Mac screenshots of Warrior Kings, its new 3D strategy game set in a world of knights and demons. Players can join one of three different races, each with unique strengths and weaknesses, creating dozens of different specialized building types and units, including medieval specialties like trebuchets and siege towers. The game also features multiplayer Internet-based play and more.
That’s not all. Feral has also posted a new patch — v1.03 — for its release of F1 Championship Season 2000, the open-wheel Formula One auto racing game. The first Mac game to ship with support for Immersion Corp.’s Touchsense force feedback technology, this new version of the game corrects a problem with some wheel controllers pulling sharply to the left. It also provides support for HID-compliant game pads.
