Final Draft Inc. has released Final Draft AV 2, a major upgrade to their script processor designed specifically for dual-column scriptwriting — a technique used in commercials, corporate videos, documentaries, music videos, radio spots and more.
The new version of Final Draft AV incorporates new column alignment features, and has the ability to support customized headers and footers. A full-featured spellchecker and thesaurus is now included, as well. What’s more, Final Draft AV v2 now features the ability to import from and export to Final Draft — the company’s self-named scriptwriting software — as well as other word processor. Final Draft AV v2 is also 100 percent cross-platform compatible, according to the developer.
System requirements for Final Draft AV v2 call for Mac OS 9.1 or later (including Mac OS X 10.1 or later), 32MB RAM, 20MB hard disk space and a CD-ROM drive. Final Draft AV v2 costs US$199 and can be purchased directly from Final Draft Inc. It’s available for online purchase and download.
