LaunchBar for Mac OS X, the productivity utility from Objective Development, has been updated to version 3.2.10, adding improved Address Book support and expanded documentation.
LaunchBar lets you access documents, folders, bookmarks, e-mail addresses, applications and preference panes by entering short abbreviations of a searched item’s name. With version 3.2.10, LaunchBar now fully supports the Mac OS X Address Book. The default configuration has been extended by a corresponding entry. You can update an existing configuration by clicking the “Add” button in the configuration window and selecting “Address Book” from the list of “Factory Defaults.” What’s more, the LaunchBar Help files have been expanded.
A demo version of LaunchBar can be found at the Objective Development Web site. It allows you to access a maximum of seven different items per session.
The LaunchBar Business License costs US$39 per seat. A Home User License, restricted to non-commercial, non-profit use, is US$19.95 per user. Version 3.2.10 is a free upgrade for registered users.
