Fidelity Media has updated MegaSeg, their DJ mixing and radio station automation software, to version 2.6.1. The update adds new boolean matching options for category views and checkboxes for selecting multiple categories.
MegaSeg lets you consolidate your CD collection on the hard drive of your Mac. You can then segue (mix) between songs for a professional DJ presentation without the need for extra CD players or mixers.
Besides the previously mentioned changes, version 2.6.1 also improves play list rule checking speed, fixes a memory leak and fixes the keyboard shortcuts in the Mixer for fast forward and rewind.
This update is free for users of MegaSeg 2.5 and 2.6. For others, pricing starts at US$169 direct from Fidelity Media. Upgrades from version 2.1 and older are $49. Fidelity Media also offers academic and volume discounts, as well as a full functional demo version.
