In a partnership with Boris Graffiti, CustomFlix Labs Inc. is now bundling their Video Publishing Packageplus DVD Transfer, and Online Promotion Program, with the Boris Graffiti 2.1 titling software.
Introduced in January at the Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, the CustomFlix solution provides video producers with a low-risk way to “easily and profitably bring new and existing content to market via DVD or VHS tapes,” John Geyer, the company’s vice president of marketing, told MacCentral.
CustomFlix Labs was started a few months ago by the guys that founded Terran Interactive, the original developers of MediaCleaner Pro. CustomFlix basically allows content creators (independent filmmakers, wedding videographers, home-video enthusiasts, etc.) to have a means of making their work available affordably on DVD or VHS.
Graffiti is a US$495 software solution for integrating 2D and 3D title animation. DVD Transfer delivers a DVD authored from a producer’s tape with up to 30 chapter points at specified timecode and names, printed DVD face and full-color packaging. The Video Publishing Package bundle provides hosting of a customized e-store to promote the title through descriptive text, graphics and a 60-second streaming video trailer for one year, on-demand DVD and VHS duplication, e-commerce support, professional packaging, fulfillment, customer service, 24/7 access to account information and online promotion. CustomFlix also offers replication services for producers that sell higher volumes.
The bundle is available for a limited time for a price of $249 exclusively through CustomFlix.
