Interactive Media Corp. today announced that it has opened a new division called Kanguru Solutions. The new business unit will be dedicated to managing the company’s line of Kanguru storage products.
The Kanguru brand includes a broad range of Mac and PC-compatible storage products, including flash card readers, USB flash drives, external hard drives, optical drives, storage towers and more. The company also sells a variety of cables, cards and accessories for computer users looking to expand their systems’ storage capabilities.
Interactive Media Corp. President and CEO Donald Brown said the change was made as a result of the company’s own branding efforts. “A victim of our own marketing success, we realized Kanguru was more recognizable to people when referring to our computer storage line, than Interactive Media Corporation so we saw fit to call this division by that name,” he said.
In related news, Interactive Media Corp. recently located its headquarters from Ashland, Mass, to a new, larger facility in Millis, Mass.
