Adobe Systems Inc. is offering its next set of instructional classes in Hawaii next month. The courses will focus on GoLive, Adobe’s Web authoring application.
Adobe’s Adam Pratt will teach the hands-on Adobe GoLive 6 classes in Honolulu using Mac OS X. The classes begin on April 10 and run until April 13 — each class costs US$120.
Pratt will kick off the four-day session with an Adobe GoLive 6 Crash Course designed to get attendees familiar with the basics of the application. Day two and three will focus on an Introduction to Adobe GoLive 6, which will teach Web development, site mapping and site management, visual page authoring and QuickTime web video editing.
The fourth and last day of the course is called Intermediate Adobe GoLive 6. The session will show attendees how to take web design to the next level with the more advanced features of GoLive. Pratt will explore the integration between GoLive, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat including variables and transparency.
Each day’s courses run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. More information and registration is available by calling 808-956-8400 or visiting the Web site.
Adam Pratt is co-author of SAMS Teach Yourself GoLive 6 in 24 Hours and an Application Engineer at Adobe. He is also an Adobe Certified Expert in GoLive, Photoshop, LiveMotion, Illustrator, InDesign, PageMaker and Acrobat.
