will preview MatchMover Professional 3.0 at the upcoming National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) event in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Windows and Linux versions of the software will be released this summer, while the first-ever Mac version (for Mac OS X) is due this fall.
MatchMover Professional automatically tracks 3D camera data and motion from videos and film sequences. It allows users to move back and forth between automatic and manual processes, with no interruption of workflow.
In addition to “significant advancements” in workflow and speed, the upcoming version of MatchMover Professional will include new features that deal with the handling of motion control data; 3D object model-based tracking; 3D tracking of cameras and multiple objects in the same session; the handling of survey points; and a new graph editor toolbox.
Apple will also be present at NAB. The company will be
unveiling their strategic direction
for digital video production technologies.
