Intelli Innovations has a new product: IntelliMerge, e-mail merge software that sports an integrated message editor, recipient database system, and message mailer.
It has a drag-and-drop message editor so you can drag merge fields into your e-mail. Plus, there’s a Carbonized preview version for Mac OS X. (The folks at Intelli Innovations say they’re “still working some kinks out of the Carbonized version” so you should use it with caution. However, if you buy IntelliMerge now, the final Carbonized version will be a free update.
An integrated recipient database system manages contacts; the “instant duplicate checker” removes invalid entries by highlighting them; a built-in mailer program sends merged messages via SMTP; conditional statements let you include or omit entire sections from the body of a message; Distributive message handling lets IntelliMerge use multiple SMTP servers to send out larger mailings; and you can change IntelliMerge’s recipient data fields to your liking.
The product lets you import database info from AppleWorks, FileMaker Pro, or other database solutions. And its recipient lists can purportedly store anywhere from one to 800,000 recipients without requiring additional memory.
IntelliMerge 1.0 costs US$59.95 and is available for purchase from the Intelli Innovations Company Store online. Competitive upgrade pricing available for owners of certain qualified products.
