SnapMail, the intra-office Mac messaging software from Glass Bead Software, has been revved to version 3.0.2. The new version squashes a number of bugs and increases stability.
The app is an intra-office chat, messaging and communication application. Using peer-to-peer technology, SnapMail sends messages, files, and voice mail instantly and keeps all messages and documents in-house. It doesn’t require a mail server, Internet connection, or any administration. SnapMail, which runs on all Mac operating systems from 7.5 to OS X, boasts voice messaging, a bulletin board system, reminder messages, color icons, a spelling checker, and more, according to MacTech magazine.
Snap Mail provides “seamless and easy collaboration to small and large workgroups without difficult-to-configure server software on expensive hardware,” the gang at Glass Bead said. The company has promised to provide “compelling upgrades to Snap Mail” that support core Mac OS technologies.
SnapMail 3.0.2 is available for download at the Glass Bead Web site. It requires just 1MB of RAM. Pricing starts at US$174.75 for a five-user license.
