Brother has produced a matrix showing which printers and multi-function devices now support Mac OS X and which ones will in the future. The company also notes that scanning is not currently supported on all models, but Brother indicates that OS X scanner drivers are in the works.
Brother’s new drivers enable a number of its devices to print via USB. Printing via Ethernet is also supported on some devices, using the PostScript drivers already included with Mac OS X.
Brother notes that if the printer or multi-function device model is not listed on their matrix, the device’s drivers will not be updated to support Mac OS X.
