ici Media, a company that produces online QuickTime content, is holding QuickTime 5, LiveStage Pro classes next month. One is a new hands-on, two-day, “intensive” training course called “Creating & Deploying Interactive Video with QuickTime 5.”
“This course is going to show how you can turn a $30 piece of software (QuickTime Player Pro) into a powerful tool for making your video content standout from the rest,” Ruth Atherley, ici Media spokesperson, told MacCentral. “We will also show you a few other tools along the way, as well. Through hands-on production and examples, you will learn the production process for creating interactive videos and deploying them for the masses.”
The US$695 course is targeted to video editors and producers, educators, content creators, Web designers, marketing and communications officers, artists interested in motion graphics, video enthusiasts, project managers involved in new media, information architects involved in new media, and “anyone making iMovies.” Topics covered will include:

ici Media is also planning a beginner to intermediate LiveStage Pro Course that will teach participants how to create and deploy wired movies for the Web or CD-ROM using the Totally Hip product. The hands-on, fee-based training course will be taught by David Gratton, president of ici Media, and Guillaume Iacino.
Those who attend will create interactive content using LiveStage Pro in a QuickTime authoring environment. The course is aimed at content creators, Web designers, video producers, network administrators, IS managers, corporate communications officers, and entertainment and education professionals.
