There’s now a beta version of RapidMQ, the first messaging and queuing technology product “designed specifically” for Mac OS X, available from
Messaging and queuing enables software programs to communicate securely with other programs running on remote computers, according to
MacTech magazine. The RapidMQ beta contains C APIs (application programming interfaces), several server agents, preliminary documentation, and lots of example programs. And beta users are encouraged to provide feedback.
“I can’t wait to see the full potential of RapidMQ,” said Jiiva’s President Mark Ericksen. “This is going to be a major asset to the software development community.”
Jiiva’s overall mission is to produce high-quality software systems and applications, making Jiiva’s software an integral piece of software systems developed by other companies, he said.
