Semicolon Software has released version 4.2.1 of The Tilery. The new version of the shareware application can be downloaded from Semicolon Software’s Web site now.
The Tilery places a tile icon of each open application on your screen. You can create persistent icons for applications, folders, documents and other objects you use frequently.
Changes in version 4.2.1 include: Compatibility restored with Mac OS 8.1 and earlier. The “Path” menu item in each tile’s menu gives easy access to other items in the same folder and in parent folders. Fixed an obscure bug that could cause Finder problems when the “Finder to Front at Startup” option was enabled while Virtual Memory was turned off.
The Tilery requires a 68020-equipped Mac or better; System 7.0 through Mac OS 9.1 (Not OS X native). The software is distributed as shareware — the Tilery carries a US$15 shareware registration fee.
