It’s that time again — time to start thinking about the Macworld Expo. And registration is now open for Macworld Conference & Expo/New York 2001, which will run July 17-20 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
You can register by June 18 to save up to US$150 on the on-site registration prices. For complete pricing and registration info, go to the MWNY registration site.
According to the folks at IDG Expo, the organizers of the Mac shindig, over 400 companies will be exhibiting their products. There’ll be Mac OS X application demonstrations, the annual Digital Art Contest & Gallery, and, for the first time ever in the Big Apple, MacTech Central and the Special Interest Boulevard.
The conference programs will have six pro tracks, 100-plus “user” sessions, over 13 full-day workshops, and Mac OS X educational sessions. There’ll be MacBeginnings sessions for, well, Mac beginners. And though Apple hasn’t made an official announcement, we’ll be shocked if CEO Steve Jobs doesn’t do the keynote and surprise us with “just one more thing.” You can keep up to date regarding all planned events at the expo Web site.
