Earlier this week, ElfData released XML Editor 1.0. It’s an XML (Extensible Markup Language) creator and DTD validator for the Macintosh, built using REALbasic an ElfData’s own XML Engine core. The software has been released in both Mac OS X-compatible and “Classic” versions.
The software supports drag and drop, copy and paste, contextual menus, user-made element holders and more. It also features search and find capabilities, including the ability to perform conditional finds on empty elements, non-empty elements, CDATA, comments, PIs, DOCTYPEs and more.
Available for download now for a 16-day demo test, XML Editor 1.0 costs US$50. After April 25, the price rises to $70.
System requirements call for a PowerPC-based Mac running Mac OS 7.6 or later; 3MB available RAM; and 3MB disk space.
