Mac processor upgrade maker PowerLogix has announced reduced prices on several upgrade models. New prices are available for PowerPC G4 upgrades for desktop machines and PowerPC G3 upgrades for PowerBooks.
The PowerLogix BlueChip G3 466/233/1MB upgrade has dropped $150, from $599 to $449. The BlueChip G3 500/250/1MB has dropped $100, from $699 to $599. These two upgrades have been designed for Wall Street-series PowerBook G3 models.
The PowerForce G4 450/225/1MB model — for Power Mac 7300-9600 models and compatible Mac clones — has dropped $50 from $499 to $449. The PowerForce G4 ZIF 450/226/1MB — for Beige Power Mac G3 and blue and white G3 models — has also dropped $50, from $499 to $449.
