Software Logistics Corp.’s business goes way beyond duplicating and packaging software for large computer companies. The company’s business also involves procurement, manufacturing, fulfillment and distribution services for the computer hardware industry, telecommunications and networking services, supply chain management consulting, and services for the medical industry.
Software Logistics Corp. was founded in 1974 and employs about 800 permanent workers, with another 2000 – 4000 temporary workers at a dozen and a half locations around the world. The company is expected to continue operations while it seeks bankruptcy protection.
The company lists Apple, Qualcomm, Motorola, IBM, Sony, Sun and other prominent companies on its list of customers.
