It’s been the better part of a year since Blizzard Entertainment released Diablo II, its action/RPG title for the PC and Macintosh. Since then the company has updated the software a number of times. Recently Blizzard released the latest patch, version 1.06.
If you’re a multiplayer gamer and you access Blizzard’s own Battle.net servers, you’ll be updated to version 1.06 the next time you log on. Otherwise, you can download the patch from Blizzard’s
Web site now.
Changes in Diablo II 1.06 include: Updated Battle.net’s Terms of Service agreement. It can now be accessed without having to create a new account. Further optimized client to server communication. Fixed copy-protection for various CD, DVD and CD-R drives.
Diablo II v1.06 also incorporates changes and improvements made in previous versions.
