Diane Cohn has resigned her position at Apple as User Group Program Manager to spend more time with family, according to User Group News.
Her replacement is Garr Reynolds, a resident (for now) of Japan, who was appointed user group regional liaison for Japan last January.
User groups — usually called MUGs (Mac User Groups) — are clubs organized by folks interested in sharing information about their Macs. There are over 600 user groups worldwide, some with fewer than 25 members, others with over 1000.
For more info go to Apple’s User Groups Web site. You can also find the user group nearest you there.
