The folks at Real Software are asking REALBasic developers to submit products for inclusion on an upcoming REALbasic CD. The purpose of the CD is to provide REALbasic users with resources to help them get more out of the application, according to Product Manager Lorin Rivers.
Submissions have to be received by Thursday, May 10, and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. You can submit applications made with REALbasic, applications that help REALbasic users develop applications, example projects, plugins, classes/modules, and anything that extends REALbasic in any way.
“There is a limited amount of space available on the CD, and we have thousands of files to deal with so the sooner you send in your submission, the more likely it will be included,” Rivers said.
Send your files to cd@realsoftware.com. Don’t send URLs where your files can be downloaded. In your submission e-mail, include the Made with REALbasic category and subcategory for the submission. You can find these categories at the Real Software Web site. In order for projects to be accepted for the CD:
It’s recommended that they also include a README file that describes the project, what platforms it works on, and includes the e-mail address and, if applicable, a Web site address for the submitter. And all windows should open on a 640 by 480 screen. Information about the Made with REALbasic program can be found online.
