Since its release last fall, Pangea Software’s Cro-Mag Rally has proven to be a popular pastime with many Mac game fans. The arcade-style kart racing game features stellar graphics, terrific gameplay, and lots of fun for the whole family.
Since Mac OS X’s release, Pangea has been diligent in its support of the new operating system. The company released an updated version of Cro-Mag Rally designed to work with Mac OS X, as promised. Pangea just updated Cro-Mag Rally form Mac OS X again, this time to version 2.0b3.
This new revision to Cro-Mag Rally incorporates support for DrawSprocket, which it uses to set up your Mac’s screen for use. DrawSprocket functionality has been incorporated into the recently released 10.0.2 update for Mac OS X.
Pangea notes that there are still some shortcomings — no networking support, for example; No reconfigurable controls, since HID Manager support has not been implemented yet; and some minor glitches involving OpenGL.
Still, if you’re a fan of Mac OS X and Cro-Mag Rally, you’ll probably want this latest update, which can be downloaded from Macgamefiles.com now.
