The folks at Digital Garage say they’ll be rolling out a new product called RedEWeb Kiosk on May 23.
RedEWeb Kiosk is a secure Web site browsing station that’s based on the iMac and lets customers interact with a Web site, according to Chief Imagination Officer (CIO) Michael Eddy. However, he said it hides the browser tool bar and locks onto one Web site. Users can’t surf other Web sites or quit the browser application, added Eddy.
“RedEWeb is different from other kiosk systems,” he said. “It’s easier to use, it’s always connected to the Internet, it costs less, it’s quick to set up, and the computer system is more stable. There are no additional programming costs, or start-up fees for the RedEWeb Kiosk, and this Internet kiosk eliminates the hassle of updating information in more than one location.”
No price has yet been announced. Digital Garage provides computer sales and support, as well as multimedia development and “Photographic Reality” 360-degree interactive virtual tours.
