Have you been thinking about getting a PDA, but have been put off by the price? You might be interested in Handspring’s recent efforts then — the company recently announced a US$50 price drop on its Visor Deluxe series, dropping the price of the PDA to $199. And, while supplies last, they’ll throw in a leather protector, too.
Handspring’s Visor Deluxe runs the Palm OS, but sports some nifty features you’ll only find on Handspring Visor models, such as the Springboard expansion interface, which lets you plug in new modules with added hardware or software capabilities. The Handspring Visor Deluxe also sports USB connectivity out of the box, so you don’t have to buy an adapter to get it to work on your Mac (unlike Palm PDAs).
The Visor Deluxe also comes in various color models. It sports 8MB of RAM, runs Palm OS 3.1H, features backlighting, a built-in microphone, an infrared port, and a multitude of other features.
