Curious about Ubi Soft’s new game release, Myst III: Exile ? You can find out more, especially if you have QuickTime installed, thanks to The Mac Show.
On Wednesday night, this reporter got a chance to interview Michel Kriplani of Presto Studios on The Mac Show, a weekly live radio show Webcast using Apple’s QuickTime technology. Kriplani is the CEO of Presto Studios, the developer responsible for bringing Myst III: Exile to life, and he’s also the executive producer of the game.
In our interview, Kriplani provided some insight about the making of the game, and gave some background info about Presto itself. The company has been a Mac and PC game developer for years, best known until now for its work with the graphical adventure game series The Journeyman Project — which, Kriplani pointed out during the course of our interview — actually preceded the original Myst’s release by a year.
Kriplani also looked down the road and talked about what Presto Studios hopes to work on now that Myst III: Exile is done. And, as always, he said that he and his company are dedicated Macintosh fans, so hopefully we’ll continue to see support from them in the future.
