Mac game conversion company Westlake Interactive added a new game to their roster of active projects today — the company is now working on a game conversion code-named “Peroxide.”
Westlake has worked with most of the major game publishers in the Mac game market, and by the nature of their function, they’ve also worked with some of the biggest names in PC game development, too. The company’s resume includes games produced for MacSoft, Aspyr Media, Gathering of Developers, and others.
Westlake maintains a Project Status Web page that outlines their current and recent work. Westlake updates the page with information relevant to the project’s status — its name, development and publication status, and publisher info.
Inevitably, though, Westlake keeps a couple of secret projects on its roster. And to keep Mac game fans guessing, the witty folks at Westlake usually give the project a name that’s somehow related to the game itself.
So what is Peroxide? One of the Mac game conversion projects just announced by MacSoft? A new Aspyr game that hasn’t yet been officially unveiled? It’s hard to say, and Westlake is, predictably, not giving up any more details at the moment than what they already have posted. Your guess is as good as ours, and we welcome your supposition in the comments area below.
