The O’Reilly Network — which has published three installments of “Programming with Cocoa” — is now offering two Apple Developer Connection Recommended Titles: ” Learning Cocoa ” and ” Learning Carbon.” The two titles will be hitting the bookstores in the next few weeks.
If you’re attending Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference in San Jose this week, you’ll get a sneak preview. If not, you can check out Safari, a Web-based subscription service for technical books. Safari subscribers can explore the O’Reilly collection and sign up to use books (in five-book increments) online, according to Lisa Mann of O’Reilly & Associates.
“Anyone can search the Safari collection to find the books that best fit their needs,” she said. “One cool feature of Safari is that subscribers can swap out titles if those needs change.”
For more info check out the interview with Jon Udell about Safari-O’Reilly Books Online. The O’Reilly Network is a portal for developers interested in open and emerging technologies, including new platforms, programming languages, and operating systems.
