Hey, Mac artists, you’re invited to submit entries for the 4th Annual Macworld Expo Digital Art Contest. Interested? You’ll need to enter by June 1.
An independent panel of judges from the digital art community will choose 30 images from “Student” and “Non-Student” categories. The winning images will premiere at Macworld Expo in New York City at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, July 17-20 2001. The art will also travel across the country as an exhibition to art galleries and universities and to next January’s Macworld Expo San Francisco.
The Grand Prize winner receives, along with hardware and software, a trip to Macworld Expo in New York or San Francisco with airfare, hotel, and a “Super Pass.” Digital art and graphic related prizes from the contest’s sponsors (Wacom, Corel, Iomega and Xerox) are also distributed to the 30 winning artists.
For more info or to access an online entry form, cruise on over to the Macworld Expo Digital Art Contest and Gallery Web site. You can also view the work of the 1999 and 2000 winners here. Also, for complete pricing and registration info about MWNY itself, go to the show’s registration site.
