The Dallas, Texas location for an Apple Store will be at The Shops at Willow Bend, a mall under development in Plano, according to the Dallas Morning News.
The company is advertising for sales employees at a 6,300-square-foot retail store that’s expected to open in August, the story says. The Shops at Willow Bend is being built on a 107-acre site on the northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Park Boulevard. The regional mall will include Neiman Marcus, Dillard’s, Foley’s, Lord & Taylor and about 200 shops and restaurants.
“This is a new chi-chi mall that is opening in Plano, a suburb where the likes of JCPenney, EDS, Frito-Lay, FINA and others have their corporate offices,” MacCentral reader Neal Eaton said.
