A new version of Apple’s recently introduced iBook will be introduced in July according to a story on Bloomberg news.
Quoting Apple’s Taiwan contractor Alpha-Top Corp.’s spokesman Wang Hsin-wu, the report says the new iBook “will have a wider screen and come in a variety of colors instead of the single white Apple introduced on May 1.”
Wang said that of the 690,000 notebook PCs being shipped — some for companies like HP and Dell — more than half will go to Apple. Wang declined to elaborate on design details and the size of the iBook order.
Apple’s latest iBook was released earlier this month during a press event at the companies Cupertino headquarters.
