The feature guest on tonight’s episode of
The Mac Show, the Internet radio show about all things Mac, is Alan Graham of Visor Central, a Web site devoted to PDAs.
Next month Graham will be traveling across the US and communicating using only a Visor and various accessories and modules. The special guest tonight will be Stan Flack, editor-in-chief of MacMinute.com. Flack will be talking about the new Apple retail stores, the coming Macworld Expo, and OS X.
In the Tech Tips segment, sponsored by Micromat’s Tech Tool Pro, host/producer Shawn King will welcome Frank Casanova, Apple’s director of QuickTime Product Marketing. Casanova will talk about QuickTime 5, QT Streaming Server, and the Internet Streaming Media Alliance.
In the “Newsmaker of the Week” segment, Ben Discipio, sales manager for PWR Systems, will take about their recent sale of 600 G4s to Verizon Communications. Mark Stevens will have Mac Media Pro, and Peter Cohen of MacCentral.com will have all the game news. Last but not least, Colin Smith, technical resource manager for Adobe Systems Canada, will talk about the creation of PDFs for beginners in Mac Basics.
The swag bag is re-opening. There’ll be copies of Tech Tool Pro 3, T-shirts from MacSupport.About.com , a copy of Myst III: Exile, a copy of Freehand 10, and 10 Macworld Expo New York Super Passes given away.
