Scott Kevill has announced that Tales of the Sword Coast supports his Mac-only online multiplayer gaming service GameRanger. Tales of the Sword Coast is the Baldur’s Gate expansion pack just published for the Macintosh by GraphSim Entertainment.
GraphSim Entertainment revealed earlier this week that Tales of the Sword Coast is shipping. It adds new areas to explore onto Baldur’s Gate, a TSR-licensed Dungeons & Dragons-derived role-playing game published by GraphSim for the Mac in 2000.
Tales of the Sword Coast is the 69th title to be supported on GameRanger, according to Kevill — the gaming service sports a wide variety of support for popular Mac shareware and commercial games, and also provides server tracking features for popular first-person shooters like Unreal and Quake. The service has been online since 1999 and now sports over 50,000 users. To use the service, you can download a free client software application from the GameRanger Web site.
