Over 1,500 corporate and independent FileMaker database developers from across the world are expected to attend this year’s FileMaker Developer Conference, themed “The Wonderful World of FileMaker,” Aug. 12-15 in Orlando, FL. That’s up from last year’s 1,200 attendance figure.
Nearly 50 expert sessions will cover the latest topics for developers, including looks at FileMaker mobile/wireless applications; database security; FileMaker and XML, JDBC and other Web standards; and integrating FileMaker via SQL into enterprise systems.
Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with other FileMaker developers and vendors at an Exhibitor Showcase running throughout the show. This year’s exhibitors include: Troi Automatisering; New Millennium; Chris Moyer Consulting; Medical Databases; LeSaux Media; Genwest Systems, Inc.; Comm-Unity Networking; Applied Arts Ltd.; Metro Technologies; FMPtraining.com; Professional Data; and more.
The FileMaker Developer Conference is co-sponsored by FileMaker, a subsidiary of Apple, and Advisor Media, publishers of FileMaker Pro Advisor Magazine. For details and the conference schedule go to conference Web site.
