Stone Studio offered in five packs

Stone Design, developers of Mac OS X software, has made available discounted five packs for Stone Studio and each of the applications that are included in the suite.

The Stone Design suite includes applications to do graphic design with page layout and Web publishing features, manage digital photos, track time and bill clients, and produce PDF. The following applications are included:

Create for X, a multipage draw and layout program;

PhotoToWeb 1.0, a photo album tool;

Slice & Dice 2.1.1, a tool for creating navigation bars, image maps, and mosaic tiling from any image;

PStill 1.4, which converts EPS/PS and other conforming PostScript to the Portable Document Format (PDF);

Pack Up & Go 1.2, for file compression and archive creation;

TimeCard 1.0.3, which tracks time spent for clients, and produces invoices automatically;

GIFfun 2.1, for Web animation creation.

“Give them a trial, and you’ll experience the 100 percent pure OS X and Stoneware advantage,” Stone Design CEO Andrew Stone said. “Mac OS X users can really tell the difference between applications developed strictly for OS X and other, lowest common denominator, cross-platform apps which do not take full advantage of all that OS X and Aqua have to offer.”

All the applications come with fully searchable online help documents. The introductory prices are good until Macworld New York in July. In addition to the five packs, which can be incrementally added to a network, Stone Design offers site licensing and special academic prices. The Stone Studio is available for US$299 through July 17.
